A week after All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima rocked the polity over his appearance at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA annual conference, the former governor of Borno State has shocked the polity with pictures of him decked in Igbo traditional attire.

GWG reports that Shettima had drawn comments a week ago after he appeared at the NBA conference in an apparently oversized suit and sneakers. He said he wore that attire to silence his critics who he said had come prepared to harangue him.

Now in a radical development the serving Senator from Borno Central has now been pictured in well crafted Igbo traditional outfit.

Sharing the photos online, Adamu hailed Shettima as the incoming VP for all Nigerians regardless of culture, tradition or religion.

According to him, Shettima and his principal, Bola Tinubu represent one Nigeria and also believe in Nigeria.

He further mocked the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi for giving Nigerians in diaspora false hope.

He wrote: ” High Chief, Mazi Kashim Shettima, the incoming VP for all Nigerians regardless of cultures, traditions or religion.

He and his boss, Asiwaju, stands for one Nigeria. They love and believe in Nigeria that’s why they don’t go outside to country to give diasporas false hopes.”

GWG reports that the attire apparently put on to lure Igbo voters is coming after the APC vice-presidential was heard in a leaked voice note putting down the Igbo.

@_iam_alexandra: One will think that you would re-read your tweets or give someone with literary sense to proof read first. Your last statement could easily be read as “to give diasporas false hopes of a better Nigeria they can come home to”.

@iam_Cnote: Garba or what is your name, ethnicity will not work on us & it has never worked, let it sink in your brain.
The only thing your guys bring to the table is ethnicity & religious sentiment

@suduq: Did you say they love and believe in Nigeria now that they want to lead it? But when power wasn’t in their hands, they didn’t believe. I keep saying you cannot defend BAT without looking foolish
