Outrage As Private Varsity Student Flogs Junior Colleague (Video)

Nigerians have taken to their handles to express dissatisfaction after a video capturing the moment a yet-to-be-identified Bingham University fresher was being assaulted by his senior colleague surfaced online.

GWG reports that the video was shared by a Twitter user, identified as Jemima Nnadi

The video captured moments the fresher was being flogged by an older student with a whip.

Jemima also disclosed that her cousin who is also a fresher of the Varsity shared the video with her, alleging that the inhumane treatment was meted to Freshers, (like them) in the university.

She further urged relevant authorities to ensure that the bullies are apprehended and prosecuted.

Sharing the video, she wrote; ”This video was sent by my cousin in Bingham university. This is what they go through as freshers in the university. Bullying. This student should be found and duly prosecuted.. How can a fellow student do this to another… Kindly retweet and tag necessary authorities.”

Reacting to the video, Nigerians on and offline have demanded Justice for the young freshman.
