Actress Helena Duru Blasts EFCC For Denying Assault, Drops Evidence

Nollywood actress, Helen Duru has blasted the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after the commission denied reports of it’s personnel assaulting her in her residence in Asaba.

Recall that after the actress took to her official Instagram page to report an assault on her by two operatives of the anti graft agency, the commission refuted her allegations with claims that the actress was chasing clout.

GWG reports that, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has debunked Nollywood actress, Helen Duru as a publicity seeker working in cahoots with some blackmailers to derail the work of the commission.

Reacting to her claims at the weekend that she was assaulted by certain officers of the commission while carrying out an arrest, the commission said that her story didn’t add up as it went on to demolish her claims one by one.

Helen Duru had earlier claimed that she was bloodied by EFCC officials when they invaded her Enugu apartment The commission in the statement titled, “False and Misleading Video in Circulation on EFCC Operations” issued by Wilson Uwujaren said she made up the story to chase clout.

Reacting to the development, Helena via her Instagram page blasted the commission for denying the assault on her.

The actress further dropped proof to back up her claims. According to her she had filed a petition at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja and the petition was stamped by the headquarters.

She also threatened to drop more evidence in connection to the case.
