Headies: Knock, Kudus Trails As Sanwo-Olu Storms Atlanta
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has generated mixed reactions over his presence at the 2022 Headies Awards in Atlanta, USA with some commending him and others flaying him for abandoning his work as governor of Lagos State.

GWG reports that the 2022 Headies Awards marked the 15th edition of the event, themed, ‘Join the Movement’ was staged outside the country at the Cobbs Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, United States.
In a series of tweets via it’s handle, the show organisers, kept their teeming fans abreast of the events as they shared posts of the artistes’ rehearsing as well as other pictures which showed their preparedness.
The red-carpet session began by 2 pm while the main ceremony starts by 5 pm.
However, Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had taken social media users by surprise following his unexpected presence at the Headies awards.
Sanwo-Olu who was given the opportunity to address the crowd hailed Nigerians musicians for the achievements so far.
His attendance at the event has sparked massive reactions from Nigerians. While some hailed him for being a supporter of the youths as well as the entertainment industry, others blasted him for abandoning his duties at home for the event.
