The Department of State Service (DSS) has revealed that it found some shocking and incriminating items in the house of the lead negotiator between terrorists and families of the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers, Tukur Mamu.

The DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya revealed the development to Daily Trust when asked about the raid carried out in the house and office of the negotiator in Kaduna.

The DSS revealed that it recovered incriminating materials at Tukur’s residence.

Speaking about the raid, Afunanya said among the incriminating things found were military accoutrements, large amounts of different currencies and denominations. He vowed that Mamu woud be charged to court if not, then based on the supposedly shocking things found in his house during the search by the DSS operatives.

”So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office. During the processes, incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered.

”Other items include large amounts in different currencies and denominations as well as financial transaction instruments. While further investigations continue, Mamu will, sure, have a day in court,” Afunanya said.

Meanwhile, neither Mamu nor a spokesman is yet to respond to the assertions of the things found in his house during the search.
