Waje Hails Davido As Kind Words Earn Her Beautiful Diamond Earrings

Popular Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, better known as Waje, has hailed her colleague, Davido for being a truly good man whose kind words behind her back caused her to be gifted a pair of diamond earrings.

The singer while reflecting on the unusual kindness of Davido said that it was not the practice in the music industry for competitors to speak well of one another. However, she said that Davido was an exception as because of the regular good words he spoke about her that she was gifted the diamond earrings.

Waje made the disclosure on Sunday via her official Twitter page.

According to Waje, she felt honoured when she went somewhere and walked out with the gift of diamond earrings all because of the fact that Davido regularly spoke well of her.

Noting that the attitude of Davido was the exception in the music industry where she said that not many would praise another in their absence.

She wrote, “Imagine walking out of a place feeling, honoured, and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings cos of @davido‘s kind words about u.

“I’ve been in this game a long time, not every1 will honour u when you aren’t present in the room. David you are truly a gift.”
