Atiku’s, Obi’s Supporters Hit Back As Keyamo Defends Tinubu Sleeping In Public
Controversy has broken out on social media after Festus Keyamo, SAN, shared pictures of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi supposedly sleeping away at public events in answer to the weekend pictures of his principal, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu sleeping during an audience with the emir of Gombe, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu-Abubakar.
GWG reports that Tinubu had been seen in viral images sleeping at the palace of the emir of Gombe last weekend while Senate President Ahmad Lawan was speaking during the courtesy call on the monarch.
The pictures had been circulated by critics of Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate as evidence of their claim of his infirmity and as such incapacity to be president.
However, responding on Monday, Keyamo, who is also director of communications of the Tinubu Campaign Organisation presented composite pictures of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Labour Party, LP candidates seemingly sleeping in public occasions in a way to assert that Tinubu like his rivals was human.
They are all human, after all. We don’t mock people when they show natural human traits. It’s not a sign of weakness. They may have stayed up late the previous night for our sake!
While some were quick to affirm that Obi and Atiku could also fall to the entreaties of nature by sleeping away like Tinubu at public occasions, supporters of the PDP and Labour Party presidential candidates soon rebounded with claims of forgery and deceit levelled against Keyamo
They alleged that the picture of Peter Obi sleeping off was a photoshopped image as they presented the original picture of Obi which was supposedly photoshopped.
Similarly, supporters of Atiku were to come forward with the assertion that Atiku was not sleeping but actually talking to someone.
