All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has excluded his one time political godson, Yemi Osinbajo in his campaign council but at the same time included Peoples Democratic Party, PDP member, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani in the campaign.

GWG reports that the campaign council was unveiled at the weekend with Muhammadu Buhari as chairman of the council and Tinubu as the deputy.

However, of particular notice was the absence of Osinbajo in the council.

GWG reports that  Osinbajo was one of Tinubu’s fiercest challengers for the APC ticket. However, virtually every other strong challenger to Tinubu for the ticket is in the council with the notable exception of Osinbajo.

Meanwhile, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has appeared on the ticket as number 350 on the list.

GWG reports that Senator Nnamani had recently come out in strong support for Tinubu after he was criticized for his physical frailties.

He had in an opinion asserted that there was no dementia in Tinubu asserting him a proper and fit person to vie for the office of the president of Nigeria.

Nnamani had, however, at the same time said that Tinubu’s wife, Senator Remi Tinubu should cure herself of her hatred towards Ndigbo.

Campaign officials were not immediately at hand to explain the absence of Osinbajo and the inclusion of Nnamani in the Tinubu Campaign council.
