How Obidients Marched Through Lagos
Supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Saturday came out in droves to garner support for their preferred candidate on Independence Day ahead of the 2023 election.
The supporters known as ‘Obidients’ converged at strategic points in Lagos on Saturday.

They began the walk from the Admiralty Junction moving through the major road in Lekki, making stops at every junction waving flags, banners and other paraphernalia.
They moved towards Jakande, Elegushi axis, despite the police already stationed at the Lekki toll gate.
On the mainland, they marched through Ojuelegba, Surulere, Ikeja and Festac among others.
Recall that a Lagos High Court on Wednesday ruled against the convergence of the rally at the toll gate.
The court also directed the inspector general of police, Usman Baba, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, to ensure compliance with the order.
