Under Attack, Star Actress Toyin Abraham Pulls Down Tinubu Instagram Post

Smarting from a public backlash after she came out tongue-in cheek to defend Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over the controversy on his eight-minute bicycle exercise video, actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has unceremoniously pulled down his public support on Instagram.

GWG.NG reports that following the release of the Tinubu exercise video that Toyin Abraham had immediately rushed to the defence of the APC presidential candidate saying that Nigerians should stop the critique of the video.

She had said:

“What else does Tinubu need to do to prove that the is not dying today? I am not campaigning for any candidate, just jumping on trending topic. I am just a responsible citizen with PVC and power to choose who to vote for.”

The post was trailed with reactions from many who warned her to desist from her open support for the politician.

They warned that they would boycott her forthcoming film, IJAKUMO (The born again stripper) which is due in the Cinemas from 23rd of December.

However, with criticisms trailing her inclination, the filmmaker according to GWG.NG findings has pulled down the post.

In a new apolitical post, the filmmaker announced her full return to her duties as a filmmaker as she thanked fans and crew who supporter her in the making of the new film.

The post was followed with many commendations to Toyin Abraham, but one critic, Sapadiamonds was still unsparing, cautioning her thus:

If u speak nicely of the enemy of a nation then God will cancel you this ideeot
