Fans Scream Betrayal, Ask Morayo Afolabi-Brown To Dump Strategist Role In Tinubu Campaign
Fans and followers of the TVC Your View breakfast show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown have stormed her Instagram page screaming betrayal and urging her to abandon her new job as a strategist for the Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2023 General Election.
GWG.NG had reported that Morayo Afolabi-Brown had unveiled herself as a strategist for Tinubu ahead of a campaign meeting in Abuja on Monday. She had in an explanation on her Instagram page said the choice was hers with an assertion that she didn’t owe an explanation for it. She also put it out that the choice was not influenced by the ownership of TVC as according to her she is no longer a staff of the station.
She had said:
Since I’m not a staff of TVC or an APC member, I was pleasantly surprised to be officially invited to join the APC Women Presidential Campaign media team. Now, in my career, being part of any Presidential campaign is a huge opportunity and experience. My area of strength is in strategy and I hope to bring this to bear in the media team.
Many may frown at this but my decision to accept this is very personal to me and me only. This is an exciting journey and I’m looking forward to the experience. My first task is to attend their official flag off today in Abuja. Looking forward to greater opportunities ahead.
Many had in response criticized her with a few exceptions. Some said they would unfollow her.
GWG.NG reports that the attack on Morayo Afolabi-Brown was as Tuesday still flowing over her decision to work as a media strategist for Tinubu. Many were, however, appealing to her to reconsider her option given what they claimed as her front role in calling out the failures of the outgoing APC government.

To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. Nobody should tell me about personal choice here because if your choice is going to affect the generality of the people then, it’s no longer personal. Most of you are overrated. What can’t money do for people who don’t have conscience? It’s unfortunate that some people because of their personal gains still want this Country to be under Rulers who send their children abroad to study while the downtrodden’s children are roaming the Streets owing to ASUU Strike action. What can you say of insecurity, joblessness of highly qualified and skilled young people? How about the untold hardship the increase in prices of PMS, Diesel and even Kerosene this party has brought on Nigerians? For me, I don’t think anyone supporting and clamouring for APC and PDP after what we’ve been through for the past 23 years+ is means we’ll for Nigerians. That’s my opinion and there’s no amount of abuse can make me change it. You can’t keep doing things same way and expect different results! Vote wisely! For me, I stand with Obi-Dati Mandate!!!

There is no need to explain Ma’am . We love you like that , everybody has a right to make their choice on who to support but the muslim-Muslim ticket is a disaster that must be rejected at the polls bcos in Nigeria, religion matters . Even the previous military junta were wise enough to consider religion in choosing who will be vice to balance their ticket. People are denied appointments bcos of religion. Deborah was burnt bcos of religious intolerance. So many reasons to vote out APC . The disastrous performance of the buhari regime will be discussed another day .

Congratulations. I used to tell people that TVC workers only hates and criticize Buhari but Asiwaju is their Man. I am patiently waiting for Mr. Babajide Otitoju to also officially unveil himself as member of Asiwaju campaign.
