Obi Hails Running Mate, Datti’s Industry During Visit To Baze University Hospital

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has visited Baze University Hospital, a private facility owned by his running mate Ahmed Datti in Abuja.

On his Twitter handle, Peter Obi remarked about his his visit to Baze University Hospital in the company of Datti on Wednesday morning.

According to him, the institution is exemplary and reflects what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can contribute to nation-building.

“This morning, I had the honor of visiting the Baze University Hospital in Abuja and inspecting the facilities,” he wrote. Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed was on hand to show me around the facility.

This institution is an example of a center of excellence, as well as what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can do to help build a nation.

“With a few more facilities like this, medical tourism will be a thing of the past for Nigerians.” This is simply amazing. – PO.”

GWG.NG reports that while several Obidients were effusive over the visit and the sight of Obi and Datti, that the contrary was the case with rival presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress, AAC.

Sowore as has been the case with him on anything Obi, chastised his Labour Party counterpart for inspecting the hospital of the LP’s vice-presidential candidate, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed, in Abuja. He said that Obi should have gone to inspect any of the hospitals he left behind in Anambra State.
