Flamingos Sing ‘Peter Obi’ Song After Winning US Team, They’re ‘Obidient’ LP (Video)
The Super Flamingos, Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team have jubilated and sang songs of victory, including a song which seems to be attributed to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) .
The Flamingos sang with joy after defeating the USA in the quarter-finals of the ongoing India 2022 U-17 Women’s World Cup.
In a viral video, the girls can be heard chanting Obi while celebrating their victory over the United States.
The Labour Party claimed on its official Twitter account that the Flamingos sang the songs in support of Peter Obi.
LP captioned a video of the girls, “Nigeria under 17 girls are all OBIdients.”
“Watch them chant Peter Obi’s name after today’s quarter-final victory over the United States.” “Peter Obi is on his way.”
Recall that the Flamingos advanced to the semi-finals by defeating the United States on penalties.
Following a 1-1 tie, the Nigerian women’s team defeated their US opponent 4-3 in the penalty shoot out.
In addition, the 16-year-old goal keeper saved two penalties to help the Flamingos defeat the Americans.
Team officials are yet to react to what could be an official embarrassment to them.
