Our Workplan To Deliver Tinubu In Oyo On Course – Folarin

Coordinator for the Tinubu-Shettima All Progressives Congress APC Presidential Campaign Council, Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin says the people of Oyo State are solidly behind the presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and would vote massively for APC in the presidential and other elections come 2023.

Receiving the leadership of the Contact and Mobilization Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, South West on a courtesy visit in his Iyaganku, Ibadan residence, Senator Folarin assured that the 95 percent votes projected for Asiwaju in the 2023 presidential election by the chairman of the Contact and Mobilization committee, Alhaji Mutiu Are is realizable in Oyo State.

Already, Senator Folarin who is also the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Oyo State disclosed that the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Party had enlisted over 100,000 members who are currently mobilizing support for Asiwaju Tnubu and other candidates of the party across the 6,390 polling units in the state.

In addition, Folarin said the party had also inaugurated a presidential and gubernatorial council of 3333 strong APC members formed into 41 committees that were already working round the clock, covering all aspects of electioneering in their various locations all over the 351 wards of the state. The committees, according to Senator Folarin, were also presently being replicated in all the 33 local government areas of the state.

Senator Folarin said that the party in Oyo State was not leaving any stone unturned in its determination to win big for Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima and for all other candidates of the party.

Outside the party, Senator Foalrin, a high ranking traditional chieftaincy holder of Ibadan land, the Asiwaju Olubadan stated that the candidacy of Asiwaju was enjoying huge support from the generality of people of the state including key leaders and members of other parties and promised the Alhaji Are led committee to be rest assured of great success in Oyo State. “For Oyo State, e lo fi okan bale. 95 percent is achievable”, he added.

Earlier in his remarks, the chairman of the Contact and Mobilization Committee for South West, Alhaji Mutiu Are said he led the committee to the coordinator’s home to  inform him of the activities of the committee in the state.

Alhaji Are expressed satisfaction with the performance of the State Coordinator and Oyo APC as a whole on the promotion and mobilization of support for the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima candidacy in Oyo State so far and was highly hopeful that their efforts would yield great fruits.

Alhaji Are was accompanied on the visit by the committee’s secretary, Hon. Wumi Ohwovoriole, Alhaji Bakai Okedara, Hon. Falade  Barde , Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon. Waheed Akanbi and Hon. Dayo Iyaniwura
