Jim Iyke Still Silent As Lady Reveals Their Marriage, Seeks Divorce

Popular Nigerian actor, Jim Iyke has continued to remain silent after an American lady identified as Carllie Taggett claimed she is legally married to him and her request for a divorce.

The US lady presented evidence of her alleged marriage certificate to the actor while insisting that their union is still binding by United States law.

She also accused him of abandoning her and the marriage without making their split legally binding. Taggett said:

“It has been a pain I bore all these years, I have tried to be reasonable to understand why he abandoned our marriage without a divorce, but he has been evading me, that is why I decided to call his attention, pending when he decides to be reasonable or face the consequences of his actions in marriage court in the US.”

“All I have always asked is for Jim Iyke to be a man and come out to give me a divorce so that I can move on with my life because it is impossible to be remarried while my marriage to him is yet to be dissolved through a legal process.

“Let me reiterate the point that no one is against him, I just want him to voluntarily come to divorce proceedings or he can take the initiative of coming out for us to settle outside of divorce court if he is serious about it.”

A check on Jim Iyke’s social media handles showed that the actor is yet to acknowledge or address her claims.

Recall that in February 2022, Jim Iyke, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, revealed that he’s had a failed marriage that no one knows.

He also mentioned that he has three children and has sometime in his life cried because he failed woefully in every business. In his words:

“I’ve had a failed marriage nobody knows, I have three beautiful kids.

“I hate to be figured out, once you figure me out, I have nothing else to offer. So, that’s the potency in it; I refuse to be figured out or tamed.

“For a long time, every business I involved myself failed woefully.”
