Social Media Makes Me Angry, Raises My BP, Tinubu Confesses (Video)
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has cut himself away from social media on account of the fact that it stirs anger in him and sometimes causes hm high blood pressure.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, made the revelation in a viral video that was shared on twitter by one of his supporters, Ademola Oshodi.
Tinubu said that his decision to stay away from social media was on account of the fact that he has become the subject of intense abuse by social media users, hence he avoids it.
According to the footage of the video where Tinubu was seen speaking to some people from a high table, he said:
“I don’t read social media anymore; they abuse the hell out of me. If I read it, I get high blood pressure and angry.
“I don’t read it, so if I want to hear anything; my children or my workers will say this one said this, and when I’m tired, I say please forget it,” Tinubu said.
GWG.NG reports that even before he emerged as the APC presidential candidate that Tinubu had been the object of much criticism on social media. The focus on him has even heightened with the social media being used to lampoon the former Lagos State governor.
