Popular Nigerian Singer Kizz Daniel is set to perform his hit song ‘Buga’ at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Kizz Daniel announced the time of his performance in an Instagram post on Wednesday where he posted photos of himself with fans at the event with the hashtag ‘Buga’.

He wrote: “I will be live on FIFA stage at 7 pm Naija Time 🇳🇬 (9 pm AST ) UNITING THE WORLD WITH MUSIC & FOOTBALL #fifaworldcup2022 #qatar2022 #afroclassicworldtour2022🎙 #buga.”

Kizz Daniel announced his arrival in Qatar on his Instagram story on Tuesday morning as he shared fun moments with 2022 FIFA World Cup officials.

Fans of the music artiste, who had previously expected him to perform during the opening ceremony of the tournament on November 20 with fellow Nigerian artiste CKay, became worried when he did not appear on stage.

But the ‘Buga’ star had on Friday, November 11 confirmed he will be performing on November 23 and not the opening ceremony on November 20 as speculated.

Before he was announced as one of the headliners for the event, Kizz Daniel born Daniel Anidugbe had expressed his desire to perform his hit song ‘Buga’ at the World Cup.

Kizz Daniel said this in a tweet on June 23 after the release of the music video which became an instant hit.

He wrote: “God I want to perform BUGA for World Cup with a mass choir help me say amen #qatar2022worldcup.”
