Ganduje, Journalist Who Released Dollar Videos, Meet In London

Bitterness and rancour were put aside on Monday when Jafar Jafar, Publisher of Daily Nigerian, who released the dollar videos allegedly involving Governor Abdullahi Ganduje met with the Kano State governor.

The two men met and hugged on the sidelines of the Chatham House lecture delivered by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu before the foreign affairs experts in the United Kingdom capital.

GWG.NG reports that Nigeria was in 2018 rocked with a political scandal after the Daily Nigerian published controversial videos of Governor Ganduje allegedly receiving bribe from a contractor. Governor Ganduje denied the allegations with the claim that the videos were cloned.

Governor Ganduje eventually filed a N3 billion defamation suit against Daily Nigerian and Jafar Jafar over the videos.

The online publisher who alleged that his life was under threat from officials of the Kano State Government and security forces eventually relocated to the United Kingdom.

However, the enmity Jafar Jafar and Ganduje arising from the dollar videos was put aside on Monday as both men hugged on the sidelines of the Chatham House lecture delivered by Tinubu.

They were seen in a short video laughing and hugging themselves outside the building.

Ganduje is a strong ally of Tinubu and was on the entourage of the APC presidential candidate to the Chatham House lecture.
