At the same time, a 21-year-old third victim remains in the hospital fighting for her life.

The police in the British capital stated that the deceased, 23-year-old Gabrielle Hutchinson, who was on the security team for the event as a contractor, died in the early hours of Monday.

Also confirming her death, Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, in charge of the investigation, in his condolences to Gabrielle’s family, described her death as “devastating news.”

It was reported that all three women were in the foyer of the building in south London when they were critically injured in the stampede.

Scotland Yard detectives have been scouring security camera and mobile phone footage to establish what caused the crush and to see if any crime was committed.

Recall that Asake had, in a public statement on Instagram, said he was “devastated” and “overwhelmed with grief”, after the first death on Saturday.

The singer forcefully ended his sold-out performance at the O2 Academy Brixton on Thursday after many followers who did not have tickets attempted to force access to the venue.
