Special Assistant to Atiku Abubakar on public communication, Phrank Shaibu has dismissed threats to his emergence as president in the forthcoming presidential election saying that men boasting to stop him were treading the path that only belong to God.

Shaibu in a statement made available to GWG.ng affirmed that all power belong to God and the boasting of men to stop Atiku amount to heresy on the part of men trying to usurp the power of God.

He spoke against the background of recent taunts by the Governor Nyesom Wike led tendency in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP against the emergence of Atiku as president.

Noting the struggles of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu despite his perceived role in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as president, Shaibu said:

“Even those who boasted to have made Buhari in 2015  are struggling in this campaign for the coveted seat of Presidency in 2023.

“Power belongs to the landlord of the universe and no man can usurp the powers of the Almighty.  It amounts to heresy to sound as if the power of life and death is in our hands.”

In an apparent aside on Wike’s failure at the PDP primary, he said:

“Don’t be deceived,  If a mere mortal  has powers to make or stop another man from being President, he would first make himself!

“The fact is that, a snake that you can see does not bite. Besides, the elephant does not limp when walking on thorns. So, whether the cock crows or not, the sun must rise. Take it to the bank, Atiku would be president in 2023.”
