Suspense As Basketmouth Deletes Divorce Post On Instagram

Nigerian comedian cum actor, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has deleted the Instagram post announcing his divorce from his wife, Elsie.

Recall that GWG.Ng earlier reported that the veteran comedian in a statement shared via his Instagram page on Thursday, December 22, 2022 informed fans of his separation from his wife and urged members of the public to respect their privacy as they venture into their separate new lives apart.

The announcement came three months after Basketmouth celebrated his wife’s 44th birthday on September 14, 2022, but failed to celebrate their wedding anniversary on November 6, 2022.

Elsie who seemed unbothered about the public statement took to her Instagram page to speak on a trending argument about ladies cooking for their boyfriends.

The estranged wife of the comedian said cooking for a man while in the dating stage is no big deal but a lady must know her limit.

According to her, a lady must be careful to know when the man is taking advantage of her adding that cooking or doing house chores for a man does not influence the decision to marry a lady.

She then subtly confirmed that all was not well with their marriage after she took to Instagram to share Christmas family shoots without her husband.

Despite the series of comments and questions on her posts, Elsie ignored and also failed to make any response regarding her husband’s divorce letter.

A check Basketmouth’s Instagram page on Thursday, December 29, 2022, discovered that the comedian has deleted the divorce post.
