The IDPs it was gathered established a beans market where they market their products.

Speaking on the development, the  Director General of the Nasarawa State  Emergency Management Agency,  Barrister   Zachary Allumaga  regrated that the agency was not availed of information on the existence of the IDP camps by the Karu LGA authorities.

Allumaga said that Gov Abdullahi Sule would be visiting the  IDP camps in Karu  to interact  with the displaced persons  and donate relief materials to them to cushion their hardship.

“The governor of Nasarawa state,  Abdullah Sule  has arranged to  fraternize with the IDPs said to be from the Northeast who have been part of the state for the past seven years and the Agency is not aware of.

“Some NGOs have built schools for the children, and the IDPs are given four hectares land for farming. We will go into other areas that are extremely relevant to assist them to better their lives”,  the DG declared
