Obi Apologises To Supporters In Agbor, Oleh As Delta Govt Kicks…

Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has sent out apologies to supporters in Agbor and Oleh, two of the urban centres in Delta State over his failure to meet up with scheduled rallies in the two towns.

GWG.ng reports that his apology trails a beef between the state government and one of Obi’s senior advisers, Prof Pat Utomi over alleged plots by the Delta State Government to frustrate the Labour Party campaigns in the state.

The Delta State Government through the commissioner for information Charles Aniagwu at a press conference debunked the claims by Utomi saying that the administration made provisions for the Labour Party campaign rally in Asaba despite what he claimed were late requests made by the Labour Party campaign.

Delta State is of interest in the coming election given the fact that the PDP running mate, Senator Ifenayi Okowa is the outgoing governor of the state.

However, Obi according to reports had a well attended rally in Warri, Delta State despite the botched arrangements in Agbor and Oleh.

Apologising to supporters over the failed rally, Obi said:
