Obidients Mock Chimaroke After Impressive Obi Rally In His Enugu Backyard

The penultimate governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani was being mocked on Thursday evening after Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi staged a massive rally in Enugu, a city that was once the political fiefdom of the former governor.

Chimaroke Nnamani despite being a PDP senator and on the ballot for re-election to the Senate on the platform of the party has been vocal in advancing the aspiration of APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. The former governor whose words were at one time law in Enugu especially when he served as governor between 1999 and 2007 has been effervescent in marshalling intellectual arguments to advance the cause of Tinubu demeaning and if not, depreciating the prospects of Obi.

On Thursday Obi staged a massive rally that stirred twitter comments and caricature of the former governor with several mocking him over the huge support for Obi in his backyard.

GWG.ng reports that a day earlier that Tinubu staged his rally in Enugu where he cautioned party leaders from Enugu about being left with a slice of bread should they fail to marshal the votes to support his presidential ambition.
