Keyamo Stirs Storm Over Atiku’s Kogi Gaffe To Vote APC
Nigerians have over the weekend been reacting after Festus Keyamo, the Bola Tinubu campaign spokesman brought to light a gaffe by Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, at his rally in Lokoja, Kogi State when he about urged voters to cast their votes for APC before quickly correcting himself.
Noting the inclination of many in social media to make mockery of Tinubu over his many gaffes, Keyamo could not understand why Atiku was being spared after making a near similar gaffe.
He posted a tweet late on Saturday:
Many, however, were quick to draw parallels with the gaffes made by his principal with the effervescent Obidient supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi urging the pair of Atiku and Tinubu to step aside.
GWG.ng gathered some of the reactions to the Keyamo tweet on the Atiku gaffe in Kogi to vote APC:
Ordinary Man🇳🇬 @Okisam
Well, Atiku & Tinubu are diff faces of same Coin – the old corrupt establishment!
Tinubu = “PDAPC”!
Atiku = “APPDP”!
Both of them contributed immensely to the miseries this Nation is facing today! And the God of justice shall forbid them!
Paul @Paul_bem
We can understand with Atiku that he is usually in APC in the morning, PDP in the afternoon and Dubai at night. He is of the PDAPC stock.
But Baba Agbado has never been in the PDP before, what concerns him with GOD BLESS PDAPC?
Isa Bashir (OBIdient) @Bj7super
No difference: PDAPC = APPDP.
Both parties have expired and are due for retirement next month.
Also reacting to the Keyamo tweet on Atiku’s gaffe in Kogi to vote APC, Frankb @FBlanks1
You said he quickly corrected himself which is something Tinubu, your principal doesn’t get to ever do! PDAPC is same same anyway!!!
Please listen to the voters Politicians? @TonyIshola
It’s not surprising to those of us who were aware that both parties are identical twins.
Oluwaseun Amure @Bishopshanzy
Where is the sense in this post now? How’s that our worries or solutions to our problems? APC will definitely take one’s sense away!
Ejo Onyishi @EjoOnyishi
What’s different from current PDP and APC, remember Atiku has been decamping from different political parties as a serial presidential contestant, he might have forgotten the exact party he’s contesting from at that moment, but Keyamo don’t take it as excuse for Tinubu steady gaffes
Peter Obi Town Crier. @RyanChr74279601
However, you twist it you are all the same APC = PDP
Ikenna Ochei @ikoreal2005
But you’re simply and clearly making the irrefutable point that neither Atiku nor Tinubu are suitable candidates for leadership at this critical juncture especially as they actually share a great deal in common. The Mercy of the Living God shall surely prevail in Nigeria. Amen
