Mercy Johnson Cries Out Over ‘Cancer’ Reports

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has cried out against reports that she has been diagnosed with cancer saying that the reports were taken out of context. .

The  screen diva  took to social media to clear up any confusion surrounding her health.

According to Mercy Johnson, a clip from her hit TV show “Mercy’s Menu” had been circulating on the internet, in which she mentioned a “cancer scare.”

However, Johnson clarified that the clip had been edited and taken out of context.

“I do not have cancer,” Mercy Johnson said in the statement.

“I noticed that a clip from my TV show, ‘Mercy’s Menu,’ has been flying around where I said I had a cancer scare, which means I had this swelling on my neck and my doctors felt it was something serious.

I have issues with my thyroid, but I do not have cancer. I am perfectly fine. Go back and watch the clip. The one you’re seeing was cut.”

Johnson went on to thank her fans for their support and well wishes.

 “Thank you for your prayers and messages,” she said. “I appreciate the love and concern.”

Fans of the actress were relieved to hear the news, taking to social media to send their love and support. “Glad to hear you’re okay, Mercy,” one fan wrote. “Praying for your continued good health,” the fans wrote after Mercy Johnson cried out against the reports that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
