Disgrace! Court Jails Islamic Teacher Who Defiled Eight Pupils For Life

Adam Farouk, an Islamic teacher, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling eight of his students.

The students were aged between the ages of six and eleven according to disclosures made to the Lagos State Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court.

Justice Soladoye Abiola ruled that the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt each element of the eight-count sexual assault by penetration charge against the cleric.

The judge characterized the cleric as morally lacking and a disgrace to Islam, saying that the students’ testimony was supported by the fact that they recognized him as their teacher who had pierced them with his index finger.

The 10th prosecution witness, Oluchi Nwoke-Okoi, a midwife with the Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF), provided testimony that the students had vaginal injuries.The accused told the students to turn around while he penetrated them with his index finger.

“He is supposed to instill principles, morals, and discipline in his students, yet the opposite happened. We must value the security and decency of our students. His kind of filthy Islamic lecturers must be imprisoned and made to pay for their filthy sexual transgressions.”

The court as such sentenced the Islamic teacher to life imprisonm having been proved that he defiled the students.

The convict’s name was also ordered to be entered into the Lagos State Sexual Offenders Register by the judge.
