A 12-year-old kid was murdered in Zaria, Kaduna State and his organs subsequently extracted by yet to be identified persons.

The incident happened one day after his sister sent him on an errand to retrieve her phone from the neighborhood, Suleiman Aminu, popularly known as Abul Khair. The body of the deceased was found dead on Monday, January 23.

His family began a search for him after he failed to return from the errand and then filed a missing person’s report on Sunday, January 22.

Aminu Saleh Mohammed, the boy’s father, told DailyTrust that he learned of the discovery of his son’s body at about 6:15 p.m. on Monday near Kwarbai, Zaria, behind the Madarkaci rock.

Mohammed continued by saying that after the body was examined, it was found that some of his organs, including his tongue, eyes, and private portion, had been removed.

His skull was bashed with a cement block, and he also suffered a shattered shoulder. He had indeed been brutally assaulted and had knife wounds all over his body ” the distressed father continued.

The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalige, confirmed the occurrence and stated that additional investigation was being conducted to find the suspects following the boy and prosecute them.
