The election which is barely a few weeks away has generated different reactions from political quarters with much anticipation on who would emerge winner.

At least 3.5 million students with voters’ cards have their polling stations outside their schooling environment and may be disenfranchised from the voting exercise due to the inability to reach their voting stations.

GWG.ng reports that travelling and public transportation are generally restricted on polling day.

Lending his voice to the call to allow students go on holiday to allow them vote, Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the AAC, in a Twitter post on Thursday morning wrote “The Federal Govt led by @MBuhari, @inecnigeria, the ministry of education must grant Nigerian students at least a weeklong break to enable them to vote in the 2023 elections.

“They must be allowed to choose their leaders so they can get rid of wicked leaders #LetOurpeoplevote #SoworeMagashi2023 #WeCantContinueLikeThis,” he tweeted.
