Breaking: Tribunal Sacks Adeleke As Osun Governor
The Osun State Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Senator Ademola Adeleke as governor of the state. The tribunal in a judgment declared on Friday said that Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola who contested the election on the platform for a second term was the rightful winner of the election.
GWG.ng reports that Osogbo, the Osun State capital has since been engulfed with tension ahead of the judgment.
Senator Adeleke who was elected on the platform of the PDP is yet to make his response and is expected to appeal the judgment and continue as governor.
