Osun: ‘Peace Be Still,’ Adeleke’s Son, Sina Rambo Reacts

Adesina Adeleke aka Sina Rambo, son of the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called on well wishers not to be moved by the tribunal judgment that ousted his father as governor.

In a word of assurance conveyed on his Insta story, Sina Rambo assured that his father will remain in office.

GWG.ng reports that reports that the Osun Election Petitions Tribunal in a 2-1 majority judgment annulled the July 16 governorship election results and declared the former governor, Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the exercise.

The tribunal arrived at the judgment after it scaled down what were alleged to be the illegal votes accounted for Senator Adeleke which gave him a minority of the judgment.

Reacting to the judgement, Sina Rambo said, “Two judgments were issued today at the tribunal. One in favour of PDP. Nothing changed. Sen. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State.

“We move to the appeal court. Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen. H.E.Ademola Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State,” Sina Rambo said in his reaction to the Osun tribunal judgment.

Meanwhile, the victor, Alhaji Gboyega Adeleke in his reaction to the verdict has called for calm from all stakeholders saying that it was a victory for Osun.
