Yabatech Student Dumped By Boyfriend Takes Her Life

A yet-to-be identified student of the Yaba College of Technology, Yabatech Lagos has allegedly committed suicide through drinking an insecticide after she was dumped by her boyfriend.

In the viral video shared on Tuesday, there was an uproar in the female hostel of the school.

The voice behind the video said, “Why will you drink sniper because of Adam? You go drink sniper because of Adam? Someone took sniper and she has been taken to medical.”

An Instagram user, 9igel, reacting to the video wrote, “We need more of emotional intelligence, times are tough.”

Another user jummaidadiva, said “Reasons why I don’t encourage teenage affairs.”

Mr_mor wrote, “More reason why I don’t encourage teenage love at all. It often starts with so much happiness, looks incredible and then ends in depression.”

While Israelinnocent said, “Regardless of what happened, I guess this is not ordinary. Ordinary ND 1. What a life!”

“When you don’t know your purpose in life, this is how we waste it,” Fitmyke concluded in reaction to the news of the Yabatech student who committed suicide after being dumped by her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State PDP Women Leader, Alhaja Idowu Akinsanya, has commiserated with the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Ms Funke Akindele, on the demise of her mother, Dr R. B. Adebanjo-Akindele.

Akinsanya in a statement said the death of the mother of the veteran Nollywood actress came as a rude shock to the women wing in the party.

According to her, the death of Akindele’s mother came when she was most needed in the build-up to the elections.
