Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, has revealed how she begged Vice presidiental candidate, Kashim Shettima’s wife for N2m.

Oluremi who recently spoke at a town hall meeting with the disabled community in Abuja, shared insights about her husband’s popularity and financial status, saying his secret is not money.

Contrary to popular belief, Mrs. Tinubu revealed that her husband is not as rich as people make him out to be.

Instead, she attributes his popularity to his compassionate and generous nature.

She emphasized that her husband’s willingness to give is not limited to financial resources alone, as he also gives of his time, resources, and expertise to help those in need.

Mrs. Tinubu further stated that her husband’s generosity is not limited to political rallies or campaigns, but is a way of life for him. She recalled a time when they had a staff member who would direct people to various resources and contacts, instead of her husband handling the finances himself.

According to Mrs. Tinubu, people support her husband not because of his wealth, but because they believe he can offer hope during these challenging times. She emphasized that hope is crucial for human beings to survive and thrive, and likened the current state of Nigeria to a woman in labor, on the verge of giving birth to prosperity.
