Chelsea Sign Nigerian Attacker Hours After Southampton Home Defeat

Less than 24 hours after Chelsea suffered another defeat, the football club have signed Nigerian born attacker Chinoso Chibueze issuing the teenager his first professional contract.

According to a statement on Chelsea’s website on Sunday morning: “Chinonso Chibueze has signed his first professional contract with the club, agreeing on a deal which keeps him at the club until at least the summer of 2025.”

Chibueze who is of Nigerian descent and presently a ward in Chelsea’s Under 18 team is expected to continue his footballing education at Chelsea U18s under Nigerian manager Hassan Sulaiman.

GWG.ng reports that the Nigerian manager has been advanced from coach of the Under 16s to the Under 18s.
