Nigerians Mock INEC As Uploaded Results Contradict Website

Nigerians have been resorting to Twitter to express consternation over the varying results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

GWG.ng reports that in several cases it was shown that the polling unit results as uploaded to the INEC server were different from what was counted on gorund.

Peeved social media users have started to compare the two outcomes of election results and publish them using hashtags like #INEC result and #apologize. There have been 52,000 and 103,000 tweets, respectively, using both hashtags.
