I Had Always Thought I Could Do It Myself – Spyro Recounts Grass To Grace Journey
Nigerian singer and songwriter Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, professionally known as Spyro, has opened up about his journey from a struggling musician to a successful artist.
Spyro, who gained fame with his hit song “Who’s Your Guy,” recently took to social media to share his story.
He revealed that he had always been talented but lacked the grace needed to succeed in the music industry.
“I had always thought I could do it by myself, so I kept doing all that was humanly possible, but everything failed me,” Spyro wrote. “Until I came to the end of myself and surrendered to God.”
Spyro’s story is one of resilience and determination. He started his music career in 2016 but didn’t gain significant recognition until he released “Funke” featuring Davido and Mayorkun in 2018.
