Tems, a Nigerian musician, has responded to the criticism she received for attending the Oscars in a view-blocking dress. The Ukrainian fashion firm Lever Couture, based in Los Angeles, created the cloud-like dress for the Nigerian singer, which was styled by Dunsin Wright having an arc that went over and behind her head.

The outfit created a splash as Tems walked the champagne-colored carpet at Sunday’s Oscars in Hollywood. Many Nigerian and foreign fans expressed their displeasure over Tems outfit. They claimed it was rude and selfish of her to have worn an outfit that clearly disrupted the view of others at the event.

In contrary, some other fans thought otherwise. They praised Tems for her stunning dress and sent love her way.

However, Tems has taken to her social media to react to the controversy her dress caused. She posted photos of herself in the same outfit with the caption “oops” accompanied with blush emoji.

Meanwhile, besides the news of Tems reaction to the controversy over her Oscars dress, it has emerged that operatives of the Ogun Police Command have arrested a 33-year old woman, Ifeoma Ossai, for allegedly killing her 50-year old landlord, Monday Surulere Oladele, over a minor disagreement.

The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Sango Ota divisional headquarters by one Olaleye Taiwo.

Taiwo had reported to the Police that his brother, Oladele, had a fight with his tenant over an electricity bill, and in the process, the said tenant grabbed his manhood and dragged him with it.

According to him, the landlord fell on the ground and he was rushed to General Hospital, Ota, where he died.
