Guber Elections: Touch The Hearts Of Men – Ufuoma McDermott Tells God
As Nigerians go to the polls for the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections on Saturday, Nollywood Actress, Ufuoma McDermott has called on God to intervene in the electoral process by touching the hearts of all men.
The talented actress, who is renowned for her philanthropic activities, took to her social media accounts to encourage voters to exercise their civic responsibility peacefully and without fear of intimidation.
In her post, she wrote: “Please go out and vote. Stay safe. Be safe. Don’t fight. Don’t harass. Dear God, touch the heart of all men.”
Ufuoma’s message comes on the heels of reports of violence and voter intimidation in some parts of the country during the ongoing elections.
Despite these challenges, Nigerians have turned out in numbers to cast their ballots for the candidates of their choice.
Security agencies have also been deployed to maintain law and order at polling stations across the country.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which is responsible for conducting the elections, has assured Nigerians of its readiness to ensure a free, fair and credible process.
