Keyamo Delivers Unit To APC In Delta, Alleges Media Conspiracy In Reports On Lagos Violence

Mr Festus Keyamo, the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment has delivered his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress, APC in the governorship and State Constituency election.

Keyamo took to twitter to announce his feat in the face of what many had alleged as dirty tricks in the area.

In the governorship contest, Keyamo announced that Omo-Agege won in his Unit 12, Ward polling centre with 32 votes as to the 19 and 10 votes respectively scored by the PDP and Labour Party candidates.

In the Delta House of Assembly election, the APC polled 32 votes as to the 18 and 17 votes respectively scored by Labour and PDP, Keyamo tweeted.

Meanwhile, Keyamo who is also the official spokesperson of the APC presidential campaign organization besides his claim on the election in Delta has also taken exception to the media reports on the violence that characterized the elections in many areas of Lagos on Saturday.

GWG.ng reports that there have been various accounts of violence and voter intimidation in many areas of Lagos with many voters either staying away or having their votes destroyed by hoodlums.

However, countering the narrative, Keyamo in a tweet midway into the election alleged similar developments in Enugu State. Enugu is presently ruled by the PDP but is being heavily contested by Labour Party.

Alleging voter intimidation and other acts of election malpractises, Keyamo tweeted:
