INEC Should Release Abia Guber Poll Result Now – Odunze
A concerned political stalwart, Mr Eustace Odunze has called on the Independent National Electoral Commissioner, INEC to stop the dithering procrastination in the declaration of the results of the governorship election in Abia State saying that the results were open to all through the INEC IREV portal.
In a statement Odunze called on the INEC to declare Dr Alex Otti of the Labour Party as the winner of the Gubernatorial election in Abia State based on the available results, he said:
“Currently as at now 98% of the results of the election has already been uploaded on IREV and Dr Otti is the clear winner. Given the huge gap of his lead, the remaining 2% of the result can not change the outcome. Further waiting is creating unnecessary tension and can lead to breakdown of law and order. INEC should announce Dr Otti as the winner NOW,” he said.
