“Borrow Sense From Genevieve” – Uche Maduagwu Attacks Mercy Eke Over Outfit
Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has criticized reality TV star, Mercy Eke, for her recent outfit.
In a post on his social media page, he described Mercy Eke’s appearance as “absurdly preposterous and worrisome,” and urged her to borrow “spiritual understanding from Genevieve Nnaji on proper dressing.”
Mercy Eke had shared photos of herself on her Instagram page wearing a brown scanty top that exposed parts of her upper body and a jean trouser. She captioned the pictures with the phrase, “Ms Never miss😘.”
However, Uche Maduagwu wasn’t impressed with the outfit and questioned the message it was sending to children across Nigeria.
He asked whether the outfit was for attention and how exactly we got to this point where revealing dresses were becoming the norm.
The post sparked a lot of reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing their own opinions on the matter.
Some people agreed with Uche Maduagwu and said that celebrities should set a better example for young people, while others defended Mercy Eke and said that she was free to dress however she wanted.
