Drunken Man Inserts Bottle In Rectum, Lands In Hospital

After inserting a bottle into his rectum while drunk, a 47-year-old man was left in excruciating discomfort and had to require surgery to remove the bottle he had inserted into his rectum for sexual pleasure.

The Nepalese man informed the medical staff that the thing had been within him for three days when he arrived at the emergency room.

The man was in a lot of pain and had not had a bowel movement in two days, but he was not bleeding. He said that he had unsuccessfully attempted to remove the glass himself.

The Journal of Nepal Medical Center claimed that the man initially claimed that it had happened accidentally before admitting that he had put the glass there himself while inebriated for sexual enjoyment.

When the X-ray was finished, the doctors attempted to remove the glass, but they were unable to do so because it was upside down. The next procedure was an exploratory laparotomy, which involved cutting open the abdomen. The lower intestine was then “milked” or squeezed in an effort to push the glass out.

The glass was high up, inverted, and tightly lodged, so attempts to deliver it through the anus were futile. As a result, the glass was removed and a sigmoid enterostomy was performed.

The man spent seven days in the hospital getting better after the incident. At a follow-up appointment two months later, the doctor reported that the patient was well and had totally recovered followin the drunken act of inserting a bottle into his rectum
