2023 Nigeria Decides
Supporters Kick As Conspiracies Over Tinubu’s Whereabouts Swell
The whereabouts of the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu a week after he left the country has turned into a weave of conspiracy with a twitter hashtag WhereisTinubu fueling claims that the Department of State Services’ DSS assertion of an interim government plot was issued to distract comments on the president-elect.
GWG.ng reports that Tinubu left the country penultimate Tuesday with the intention to rest in London and Paris, and then eventually pray in Saudi Arabia.
However, since he left more than a week ago no mention has been made of his whereabouts especially on Wednesday his birthday. Though he issued a statement to mark his birthday, the president-elect did not give a clue as to his whereabouts, a development that stoked controversy and then a twitter hashtag WhereisTinubu.
While some of the supporters of the president-elect were quick to rush to his defence, some critics alleged that the DSS statement on a plot for an interim government was issued to distract from the growing anxiety on WhereisTinubu.
GWG.ng gathered some of the reactions:

If Tinubu won the election, shouldn’t he be celebrating his birthday in grand style considering his achievement? Instead he asked his supporters to pray for him, why? Like #WHEREISTINUBU and why is he nowhere to be seen even? They want to distract us with interim govt cos a pastor
Anti-Agbado! @Oserume1
All this interim nonsense is to distract Nigerians from asking #WhereIsTinubu.
On Tinubu’s birthday he is nowhere to be seen, no video, no pictures, nothing. Instead they said he asked his supporters to be praying while he is in hiding abroad 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Peace Of Mind @PeaceOf17217864

No one has been able to put a definite location where the President-elect visited overseas, it becomes even more worrisome, that no optics of his recreation activities has surfaced either online or through his media handlers since he left the country a week ago.
