Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime has opened up about the importance of taking time for oneself.
Isime, who is known for her roles in several Nollywood movies and TV shows, shared her thoughts on the subject via her social media account.
In her post, Isime stated that “Me Time” is the most important time in her life, and it comes above every other time in her priority list. She likened herself to a cup, saying that when she is empty, she cannot pour into anything else, including her faith, relationships, friendships, family, career, and so on.
Therefore, whenever she feels empty, she makes it a point to shut down, pack her bags, and head to nature to recharge.
Isolation and selective human interaction are also things that Isime is obsessed with. She explained that she needs to take time for herself to be able to fill up her cup and be an all-around better being. Isime’s mini-break last week was just what she needed to recharge, rest, meditate, work on the new season of her show, and do everything that fuels her up.
