Comedian Basketmouth Speaks On 30K Saga With Colleague, AY 

Veteran Comedian, Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth has reacted to his Colleague, AY’s revelations about their longstanding beef.

Recall that the AY in a comedian tell-all interview with Chude Jideonwo revealed that he and his colleague Basketmouth was still pissed with him over an incident that happened years ago.

AY said a transaction went sour between them precisely in 2006 when Basketmouth held on to 30k which should have been his payment.

AY, who was still struggling at the time, resorted to sharing information with a client, an action which ultimately made Basketmouth feel betrayed.

Even amid their rift, AY claimed he made efforts to attend Basketmouth’s wedding, which took place in 2010, but he was denied entry at the venue of the event. According to AY, his wife Mabel’s name was on the guest list, while he was not included.

However, Basketmouth during his “Unprovoked” tour in Europe, was quizzed by the audience to comment on the 30K saga with his arch-rival.

Basketmouth, in response, said he wants to stay mute on the issue.

His response;

“To be honest, I would love to talk about it, but the truth is some people will record it, and people would say I responded

But to be honest I don’t want Ay to ever hear from me again”
