Kenyan Artist Films Wife’s Suicide with Kids Present

A video of Kenyan artist DJ Brownskin filming his wife’s suicide as she drank poison and died has been circulated online months after the wife’s passing.

DJ Brownskin’s wife and the mother of his kids, Sharon Njeri Mwangi, passed suddenly in July of last year. On April 2, a video revealing her final moments appeared online. 

The video showed DJ Brownskin, actual name Michael Macharia Njiri, filming his wife as she put a toxic  concotion into a cup and downed it. 

He was overheard conversing with her as she drank the poison, and according to claims, he pressured her to take the concotion.

After taking the concotion the wife moved over to a three-seater cushion and sat down on it as the effect of the concotion took effect on her.

The woman eventually lowered herself to the ground and began writhing in agony between her husband’s knees as the pain seemed to become intolerable, but he did nothing to help her. 

Later, Mwangi was shown being given a cup, allegedly containing milk, by one of the couple’s kids. 

Following the release of the video, Kenyans have turned to Twitter to criticize the artist, DJ Brownskin, telling him that despite standing by and doing nothing as his wife died, he had the guts to attend his wife’s burial.
