Why Igbo Are Hated In Nigeria – Aisha Yesufu (Video)
Civil rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has opened up on why the Igbo people in Nigeria are hated by many other tribes in Nigeria.
In a video now trending on social media, the Edo born activist points to the success and enduring spirit of the Igbo as a reason why many other tribes and people in Nigeria hate what she described as the guts of the Igbo.
Aisha Yesufu who made a parallel with her Edo stock said that Edo ladies are also disliked for about the same reasons but she as an Edo lady does not give a flinch as to whether anyone likes or dislikes her saying she gives it back to others as they give it to her.
GWG.ng reports that Aisha Yesufu is one of the backers of the Igbo born Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi whose ancestry has been of concern to many other Nigerian leaders despite what has been accalimed as his unparalleled success in governance and ethical conduct.
Aisha Yesufu in the video enjoins the Igbo not to balk even if they are hated by other tribes telling them that to cower in the face of the hostility would be the greatest disservice to themselves and to Nigeria.
