Angry Nigerian Police Spokesman, Tweeps In ‘Shootout’ Over Pot Belly Taunt
Force Spokesman, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi has been locked in a twitter shootout with some activists over his claim on the capacity of the Nigerian Police to apprehend any criminal under the sun.
The claim arose after assertions of body shaming when a tweep responded to a picture posted by Adejobi of Governor Dapo Abiodun visiting the IGP, at Force Headquarters.
Responding to the tweet, a user tweeting @cryptonews404 had made mockery of the physical readiness of the IGP insinuating at the moderate pot belly as reflective of corruption.
It was a tweet that got many angry including Adejobi who questioned the veracity of the proof of corruption raised by the twitter user mainly because of the pot belly of the IGP.
Many debunked his claim thus:

Must you comment? And if you “must,”can’t you for once respect your parents? You quickly jumb to the conclusion on a whole IGP just like that? @BenHundeyin @Princemoye1
I think it’s high time NPF be on the top of their game, which does not exclude punishing people like this.

I’ve been a victim of some bad eggs in NPF before, but it shouldn’t mean I should assume all of them are the same. The last issue I’d was even sorted out by the NPF CRU @PoliceNG_CRU .. I was relieved and gave me hope that Nigeria would be great again. Thank you @PoliceNG_CRU

Like seriously? My reply is more of a question than comment. Go read it again.
To counter his claim of physical incapacity, Adejobi posted another picture of the IGP in some physical drills following which he asserted that the present IGP has proved himself to be incorruptible. He thus asked the twitter user that except he had proof that he should withdraw the allegation of corruption made against the IGP or the police would come after him.
He followed up with another tweet that the police has the capacity to arrest any criminal within the surface of the earth wherever they may be.
That assertion, however, set twitter on fire with many agreeing with him on the capacity of the police.
Many, however, taunted that the police had exceptions for some criminals as they noted that the killers of Deborah Samuel were still walking around free. Many also shaded police spokesman Adejobi that the force had the capacity to arrest Alhaji Musiliu Akinsaya aka MC Oluomo over his warning to voters to desist from voting against the All Progressives Congress, APC but refrained from doing so.
