Tinubu’s Men Reply As Atiku’s Camp Claims President-Elect Is On Medical Trip
Minutes after it was disclosed that the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had travelled to Europe on an unscheduled working trip, his political rivals challenged the claim, with the camp of Atiku Abubakar alleging that the trip was a cover for a medical appointment.
The trip happening less than two weeks after the president-elect returned from a month long trip to Europe, and 18 days to his inauguration was stoking controversy in the social media space with a back and forth between the Tinubu camp and his political critics.
GWG.ng had reported Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s spokesman as saying that the trip was a working visit to meet with investors and other official businesses aimed to fast-track the renewed hope that the president-elect has envisaged for the country.
However, questioning the motif, Daniel Bwala, spokesman of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign in a tweet said:
Critics of the president-elect and his supporters responded thus to the claim.

I read Bayo Onunuga, he keep repeating the “working trip” more than 1000 times in an article of less than 999 words trying to push it down that it’s a working trip. No one asked they’re just answering questions not asked

Tinubu don’t have any constitutional right to travel abroad based on working visit on behalf of Nig.His media aids should stop misleading Nigerians with wrong information and tell Nigeria the truth of Tinubu traveling abroad to attend to his deteriorating health condition

I see no difference between tinubu and Buhari , just that they visit different countries for regular treatment.
Meanwhile, the Tinubu Camp has yet to respond to the claim by the Atiku Camp that the trip is a cover for a medical appointment.
