Okowa, Olu Of Warri Inspect Work On Trans-Warri Road, Bridges
Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 embarked on an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of the Trans-Warri road, and bridges in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
During the inspection, Governor Okowa took time to inspect the project from the beginning to the end despite the long kilometers of the road according to a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Ovie Success.
The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III was present with the governor at the project site during the inspection.
The 28.8-kilometer road project has 19 bridges and it is significant for the linkages it is playing as it is expected to connect various communities in Warri Kingdom including Ubeji, Ifie, Ijala, Ogbodede, Inorin, Ajigba, Orugbo, Usele, Ode-Itsekiri.
The project had opened up the Ubeji to Ifie side of the Warri River and had attracted six tank farms and other multi-billion naira investments.
